Thesis Opportunity (Bachelor's / Master's)

About the Role

We're inviting motivated students to complete their Bachelor's or Master's thesis with Frojigo. This is a unique opportunity to conduct applied research in AI, Machine Learning, or Full Stack Development within a real startup environment. You'll work alongside our engineering team on meaningful projects that contribute to our ESG platform while producing academic work. The thesis topic can be co-defined with you. We welcome your ideas and are open to exploring research directions that align with both your academic interests and our product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to define a thesis topic aligned with your academic requirements and our research interests
• Conduct independent research under the guidance of our technical mentors
• Develop prototypes, models, or features that contribute to your thesis and our platform
• Document your research methodology, findings, and conclusions in accordance with academic standards
• Present your progress and findings to the team at regular intervals
• Contribute to technical discussions and bring fresh perspectives from academia
• Optionally publish your research findings in collaboration with Frojigo

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Approval or intent to pursue a thesis with an external company (where applicable by your institution)
• Strong interest in at least one of: AI/ML, Natural Language Processing, Full Stack Development, or ESG/Sustainability Tech
• Solid foundation in programming (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
• Ability to work independently while communicating progress effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated with a genuine curiosity for applied research

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Experience with web development (React, Node.js, Next.js)
• Familiarity with ESG concepts, sustainability reporting, or climate tech
• Published academic work or contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub) and collaborative development workflows
